Part 1 focuses on a range of techniques and approaches which have proved successful in sustaining motivation, whilst ensuring learning takes place.
Part 2 focuses in particular on learner responses to two examples of motivating activities.
Part 3 follows one teacher’s response to a challenging classroom situation, with successful results.
Procedure:
- Download the session notes below. The notes contain discussion, video-viewing and reflection tasks.
- Follow the tasks by going through the video in sequence.
- The video and session notes are designed as self-study resources to be worked through together. Techniques are transferable to other classes in other contexts.
