Integrating ICT is one of the twelve professional practices in the British Council's CPD framework for teachers. This professional practice includes developing skills, knowledge and understanding in the increasing range of technologies that can be used to support teaching and learning. It also involves developing your awareness of issues of reliability, ethics, safety, data protection and bias in relation to digital technologies, and developing effective teaching strategies for developing your learners’ understanding of those same issues.
