About the speakers
Jane Ritter is a Teacher, Teacher Trainer, Author and Editor. She has over 20 years of experience teaching primary, secondary and adult learners. She is University Lecturer in Masters for Modern languages for International Communication and Cooperation and hosts a radio programme for Teachers Talk Radio.
Ashlesha Rodrigues Dsouza is a Teaching Quality Manager with English Online. She has been managing and supporting teachers online from across the globe for three years. Besides this, she has worked on materials development and has taught adults and YLs both online and face to face. She has worked as a teacher trainer with the British Council on education projects across in India, training mainstream school teachers and master trainers in language pedagogy.
Kathryn Whinney is an ELT teacher, teacher trainer and academic manager with experience working in East Asia, the Gulf and Europe. She has a PG Dip in TESOL Leadership and Management and is currently working on her MA dissertation on Customer Satisfaction on the Student Journey (September 2022). She is also currently a Teaching Quality Manager with British Council English Online, working with Ashlesha.
Patricia Ramos Vizoso is originally from Uruguay where she worked as a Primary and Secondary English Teacher. She now has 25 years of experience teaching young learners and Business English. She is currently doing her Dip TESOL qualification.
Ula Staszczyk comes from Poland and started teaching EFL there before moving to Spain to teach. She has also worked as a counsellor in summer camps and as a Director of Studies in the UK. In October 2020 she started her DipTESOL course in Barcelona.
Cecilia Nobre is a teacher, teacher trainer, DipTESOL tutor and mentor with over 20 years of experience and is passionate about online teaching teacher development. She has taught in Brazil, the UK and Turkey. She is currently doing her PhD in Applied Linguistics at the University of Warwick.
Hafsah Temitayo Aminu has sixteen years of experience teaching English language and Literature to young learners and is an academic coordinator and teacher mentor. She is currently doing her doctoral research on brain damage and its effect on language performance.
Rasheedat Sadiq is a teacher and coordinator in Abuja, Nigeria, and also trains teachers on using learner-centred pedagogy. She is a literacy advocate and reading coach who runs a mobile library. Rasheedat won the Pearson English Global Teachers Award (Africa and Middle East) in 2000.
