About the webinar
Pronunciation work is ubiquitous in ELT. Global teaching qualifications ask candidates to develop an understanding of common phonological and phonetic elements at interplay in learning English. At the British Council, it is normally expected from teachers to get their learners to practise pronunciation. However, the difficulties teachers find in trying to organically embed ‘pron’ work into their lessons are well documented and frequently shared in our staff rooms, informally. In this webinar, join Viktor as he plans a lesson in ‘real time’, focusing on ways in which pronunciation can be included in our teaching. You will be able to see some general guidelines you can apply when planning for pron work, as well as practical ideas you can readily implement to work on pronunciation reactively.
