Games are a great way of engaging your learners and teaching them important skills in a fun interactive way. You can use our Words and Pictures Dominoes resource as a fun warm up, filler or cooler activity.
In total, there are 112 words and pictures (8 per A4 sheet) to match and test yourself or your students with. This game will help to improve spelling skills.
If you only have a short amount of time, you can print out half of the cards and cut out the dominoes. If you have more time, why not print and cut out all the domino cards?

How to play:
There are several ways to play Words and pictures dominoes. Learners can play alone to help them practise their spelling in a solo capacity. If playing solo, why not time yourself and see what's the fastest time you can match all the dominoes?
Alternatively, several learners can play together until one person has used up all their dominoes and is declared the winner!
