Easter
Hello
Thank you for the effort you made.
All tasks are fun…except Task 4 !!
Task 4 is rather difficult and not very interesting :( I did the lesson with adults and it was not so pleasant really.
E.g. what does the following sentence mean ?
„ Confectionery companies make chocolate eggs for every type of chocolate bar available throughout the rest of the year.“?
I d appreciate a helpful answer. Any idea anyone?
Kind regards
Dolphin
Reading task
Hi Dolphin
Thanks for the feedback, and sorry to hear your class didn't enjoy the reading task! The text is designed to give more information about how Easter is celebrated in the UK. The sentence refers to the fact that companies make Easter egg versions of the nation's favourite chocolate bars (the ones that are available all year round) - you can find some examples here: https://blog.britishcornershop.co.uk/seasonal/seasonal-food/top-10-british-easter-eggs/
Best wishes,
Cath
