About the webinar

Writing can be a skill that is neglected in the communicative ELT classroom as it is often considered more of a solitary or silent activity. In this workshop there will be teaching ideas and techniques to help integrate writing skills into communicative teaching that can be used both in online and in person classes. There will be practical lesson ideas and techniques for activities that are both purposeful, collaborative, and authentic. By considering the types of writing our students use and need we can find ways to make writing relevant to their needs and more communicative.
