Making words count: Top tips for teaching vocabulary

Watch a recording of this webinar with George Wilson looking at how to develop your vocabulary teaching skills.

About the webinar

How can we convey and check the meaning of new vocabulary in a fun, engaging way? What kind of practice activities help learners remember new words? How can we make sure they don't forget them in the future?

This webinar is aimed at teachers of English in schools and universities and those using English as a means of instruction (CLIL / EMI).

Participants will be introduced to a range of practical strategies for teaching vocabulary. They will have a chance to practise and reflect on these techniques and to think about how best to apply them to their teaching context.

Recorded on 12 May 2022

Hi Anne

I think participants were asking about the certificate of attendance, which we get for this webinar. One must fill in the survey form till the end to download the certificate. It is a blank certificate. We fill in our name and re-save it.
Hope that clarifies.
Thank you very much for organising the webinar.

Best regards
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer ( and thanks for your post),
I had assumed that it was 'viewing the webinar' ( which isn't certified) that was being referred to, rather than 'attending the webinar' ( which is as per your email).
Nice that we have a proper community ( that looks after each other!). Have a good weekend!

Hello,

The links for registration do not seem to appear on this website page. This is not the first time I have been unable to register and attend one of your events.

Please let me know, perhaps I am looking in the wrong place?

Kind Regards,

Cara
