About the talk
With English having become a lingua franca and business exchanges occurring mostly among non-native speakers, it is time to revisit the role of grammar in Business English. To that effect, I conducted a study to collect data regarding the weight assigned to grammar, as well as the methodology and materials employed in BE sessions delivered in Buenos Aires at present.

I liked this talk. I just want to say that BELF students usually want to demonstrate competency through standardized testing. This 'makes' grammar important to them. Also, many students want to speak like a native speaker. It's a desire they bring to the sessions. These two factors impact the content choices and delivery strategies.
