This lesson focuses on the differences between how girls and boys perform at secondary school in the UK.

Students will make predictions about how well boys and girls perform in different exams, read and categorise opinions about gender differences, and then take part in a discussion on the pros and cons of single sex schooling.

• To practise speaking skills in a discussion
• To learn vocabulary related to academic performance
