Returning goods to a shop

This activity provides short listening practice based around a conversation between a customer and sales person. The conversation is to return a pair of boots. 

In this lesson, students will listen to a dialogue where a person is trying to return some boots to a shop. They will make their own dialogues and then put the conversation in order. There are also suggestions for developing the theme of shopping to practise specific areas of grammar.

Aims:

  • Students will develop their listening skills
  • Students will expand their vocabulary 
  • Students will develop their speaking skills

Adults

Level:

CEF level A2-B1

Time:

30 minutes plus time for developing the theme
