Subject teachers attitudes to English in their online postgraduate studies and in their teaching: Voices from Nigeria, Kenya and Malaysia

Subject teachers from Nigeria, Kenya and Malaysia account their experiences of studying online with a UK university.
 


While teachers identified challenges in writing in English at postgraduate level they also saw benefits for their practice. They had a sophisticated understanding of varieties of English as well as an informed, pragmatic view of their developing expertise. This paper will be of interest to school teachers and to higher education tutors.
