This unit is designed to introduce students to one of Dylan Thomas’ most celebrated poems. It gives students the opportunity to gradually engage with the language in the poem and to promote awareness of how poets use language to describe scenes and embed complex ideas in their descriptions. It also gives learners the opportunity to try to employ similar techniques and develop their creative writing.

Level: Intermediate/B1 onwards
