About the webinar
Supporting and mentoring teachers is pertinent to achieving educational goals. Through this webinar, Megha introduces a teacher training intervention model based on Kirkpatrick’s Evaluation Framework implemented in two K-12 schools.
Training model:
Training Need Analysis - Training Delivery using Active Learning Strategies - Monitoring and follow up - Teacher Evaluation using Kirkpatrick's Evaluation Framework - Refresher Training - Individualized Development Plan
Mentoring and establishing positive relationship with the teachers emerged as a key aspect for the success of this model. It highlights essential parameters responsible for transmitting training into practice thus enhancing students’ learning.
Participants get access to various tools created for each step. As an outcome of this intervention, individualized teacher development plan is created where each facilitator will be accountable for his/her own professional development. Through polls, there will be discussions on good practices and common challenges faced during the execution of this process.
