Join this webinar to get practical tips for maximising participation in your large, mixed-ability classrooms. We will discuss the challenges of teaching mixed-ability classes and see how AI can serve as an effective solution. You'll look at how AI tools can translate instructions into the learners' L1 to help all of them access all activities. We'll also look at tools to help teachers create tailored activities that cater to different proficiency levels. Suitable for teachers with little or no AI experience!

In this webinar we'll see examples of how you can use AI to personalise learning, to adapt assessments and to provide individual feedback. About the speakers
Hamed Hashemian has over 15 years of experience teaching young learners, teens and adults, and has also trained teachers all over the world. He currently works as the Director of Studies/lead trainer in a secondary school in Vietnam. His special interests in ELT include online teaching, technology, gamification, differentiated instruction and CPD.
Katherine Reilly specialises in training teachers in inclusive teaching methodology and adaptation of diverse educational materials. She lives in Greece, where she teaches and works on teaching methodology and materials development courses for teachers. She has published extensively on ELT, and her articles can be found each month in the magazine ELT NEWS.

Our webinars are free. They take place in Zoom events. Click the 'Register for Zoom event' button to register to join live. You can also watch the event on our Facebook page.
- Webinar recordings
All TeachingEnglish webinars are recorded, and you will find links to the recordings under the session information on this page between 24 and 48 hours after the live webinar has ended. You can also find the videos on the TeachingEnglish YouTube channel. Recordings will be available to watch for a minimum of six months and up to one year after the live event has ended.
- Webinar handouts
PDF handouts from each presenter will be available after the webinars.
- Certificates
Certificates of attendance are available for all attendees. You will receive a 'Thank you for attending' email after the webinar if you registered and watched on Zoom. You should receive this within 72 hours of the live event.
You should download the certificate to your computer. Once the certificate is saved to your computer, open it and type your name on the certificate. We recommend using Google Chrome or Internet Explorer to do this. You cannot do this from a mobile device.
